Not getting how this actually would work. Wyoming kicks companies out like Tesla etc in 2035? Wyoming citizens can't go to Colorado and buy an EV? What happens if they do, jail? Regardless of what you think about EVs (and no I'm not buying one) this is highly impractical, especially by 2035 when EVs will be everywhere you turn. I think this is just short-term political grandstanding.
So basically in 2035 you won't be able to buy a new car in Wyoming. If we stay on this path, no companies will be making gas powered and electric will be banned for sale
What I understand is they passed a Resolution or their statement/opinion. It does not mean a resident cannot buy one, it probably don’t prohibit a dealer from selling one either.
I think it is more of a message to the “progressives” who are invading some parts of Wyoming that they better not piss off their neighbors who have lived there for generations. Or otherwise stay west of Wyoming, because their liberal ideas and thoughts are not welcome.
SD has one less month of winter then WY and a lot better outlook than where I live now. But with the current BS going on, from what I understand SD will be the new Kansas for climate in a couple of years.
Both states run by idiots. They don't think people are gonna go to a surrounding state and go get an ice/ev vehicle? What happens when you go to register them? Just makes no sense when you actually sit back and think about it. (Both banning ev or ice)
