Call me crazy...but I'm beginning to wonder bout this mysterious #7...no definitive release date...no production numbers..no powerplant details...no spy photos...no real info leaks..look they don't even guard the formula for Pepsi this close...at this point...I don't think you can confirm anything...

There were plenty of times I shouldn't have made it this far. I figure I have maybe 15 years left but if I'm lucky I'll see 100. Never really thought much about dyin'. Always look through the windshield not the rearview mirror.
By the way, you're not that far behind me.

Some of these things have not been set in stone because of testing issues. It will have e85 in some way and the 3.0 supercharger. Those have been confirmed in what they used in testing
Brampton will be done building V8 Challengers / Chargers Dec 31-2023
Plant will be retooled 2024
Windsor Assembly will be building the electric Challengers & Chargers in 2024
Retooling is scheduled mid year 2023 for a multi line changeover
Windsor is building a 5 billion dollar battery plant as I type & being pretty aggressive with the construction
There is also another bridge being built from Detroit to Windsor & will be complete in 2024
The area is already changing zoning for more residential construction in anticipation for all the new work

I expect them to show off a single unit or two kinda like they did the DC parts displays at power week or whatever it was called in Michigan back in August. Who knows after that.
Said it before, glad I got mine and it's freaking fast LOL.

That's been a really odd deal. I only see him make random posts on Instagram, kinda boring stuff really like "front end Friday" and stuff like that. His gig will end 4/26/23. I bet they don't do another.

If Dodge is doing carbon wheels, they aren’t for the last call.
And, for the record, these things haven’t been affordable to normal people since 2017 when interest rates were nothing and they were giving away the 2016s. You people aren’t normal
Well they made him travel quite a bit but nothing ever came from it. They had him shoot commercials and stuff like that but never aired, online only, etc.
Taxes on the $150k were high as it was a "prize" so not like regular income and he doesn't get to keep the car.

You don’t put carbon wheels on a 4500lb car.
Nor do you wait for the end of life of a platform - and a limited run - to reinvent the wheel.
If the numbers are right they sound more inline with a new production car, and this would be the upfitted wheel option… it doesn’t line up with the low production number of the last call.
Just an opinion from a casual observer.
What sort of screw issues do you have with a carbon wheel? And what testing (other than engine dyno) was specific to the last call? I’m not current with all of the gossip.
