I have this phobia about spending over 100.000.00 on any particular car...I have spent over 160.000.00 on 2 separate vehicles in the same month...but never over 100.000.00 on any one car...with My Z06 and my deposit on the mystery #7 HC hangin out there...that will soon change...I expect both to break the 100g barrier..

Childhood/"big brother" friend up of mine grew up to become an extremely successful and quite wealthy corporate tax attorney and bought not one but two Ferrari F40s WAY back in the day for what I recall was around $1 MIL. One to drive, one to "collect" as he put it and from what I've been able to determine were out of 213 that made it to the US. Not sure if he still has them but I recently saw one on the DuPont registry for sale for $3.5 MIL. Literally a street legal race car of its age/era and completely absent of the luxury and technology of a Veyron for example...but what a visceral hoot and a half to drive I'm sure!

Agreed...which is probably why I still like it so much. It's definitely a departure from the traditional flowing lines and DARE I say...actually more Lambo (Countach) like? It's really noticeable when you compare it to the F50, which looks like a refined F40 and the beginning of the more curvaceous and flowing design offerings from their current production.
Well welcome to our half way house...yer now half way to "Hell''...ok look..I'm usually one of the more refined subdued members...but I gotta ask..how the fuck did you end up with the name Betina..
