I bet that is pretty intense.
I remember, prior to my first deployment in the jet, some of us in the squadron getting qualβd down to 500β at night on NVGs in order to intercept and engage low flying aircraft if we had to.
We were all night qualβd that low for navigation purposes or incase we had to due a low altitude ingress to bomb a target but fighting another aircraft at 500β and 450 knots, on NVGs (you know what it looks like but for the others, itβs like looking through a soda straw), was a whole different story.
