Inj DC there on the log as well in pictures, usually stays under 70%, I’ve got a bit of head room yet there. I’m running dual 285 pumps atm, have new inlet filters on the way, if they don’t get me head room back stepping up to dual 295’s will. This will keep me until I go Whipple someday.

Yea, You’re not making nowhere near the heat load we are at 20-21 PSI at 6700 motor RPM on a 2.4. Back when I was running a stock lower and just a 2.85 upper my IAT’s would never go over ambient even after a 1/4 run. What’s needed is a Whipple and their double pass intercooler is tha bomb!!

Steady state cruise stock vs pullied IHI blower yes temps over ambient should be reasonably close but I'm not sure that's telling us the story? It's under WOT that IAT matters yes? Cruising around mine are like 30° F over ambient. No blanket or spacers on mine.

Pulley’d blower is spinning faster for same motor rpm, the blower then started recirculating air it has already processed probably a few times over so one would think it’s creating more heat into the air then stock blower speeds would be doing?

I agree here, what’s most important is what IAT’s get to under WOT conditions and for how long WOT is held for as at WOT AC compressor hence chiller is not working any longer. My hopper tank is designed like a 4 pass heat exchanger, so at 18” long with 1x1” sq channeling inside the 4x4 tube it acts like a 72” long column of cold water, this gets me through a 1/4 pass before warmed up water starts getting to the cooling bricks in the blower. And every inch of everything including the manifold on the back of the blower is insulated with 3/4” thick silicon foam R5 insulation, hoses, pump, tank, everything.

Well let us know how the liver tastes or the Camaro feels. A whipple 3.0 makes 23 PSI out of the box without a smooth boost controller. I know this to be true cause mine is sitting in a dark corner of my house waiting to be installed. A dual pump system is not going to keep up.

The fuel rail thing don't make sense being you can run the stock ones and only theirs:rolleyes:

Changed pump inlet fuel filters, easy peasy 1/2 hr job.

Quick run down for those that never have done it

Get pumps out, a proper bung wrench makes it easy. simple as twist the lock ring off, disconnect the jet pump line, disconnect fuel feed line, remove float, take pump assembly out of tank.

Use a push pin removal tool to pry old filters off, snap new ones on, put back in tank in reverse order.

Their 30 micron, can’t see stuff that small but I guess there’s enough of it in there to make a difference. I have 2 new 295 pumps coming to see what that nets as well before hanging a third pump on there. I need a bit more head room to support a small dry shot of giggle gas for inlet air temp and blower cooling :)
