Bass is one thing the HK system does not lack! I know guys talk about not liking HK in chargers but sounds like you have a Challenger.

Pop the trunk and lift the floor lid up, you should see two subs there. If they are there, well there might be some other problem.

I’m not an audiophile or anything but I like the HK in my Challenger, one of the things I really like about it. My HK in my BMW sucks.

If you want to increase your bass, just pull the speakers out and put in some sound deading material in the box. I did both cars and now run the bass setting at the center position. It's a thumper if I bump it up.

I loved the HK in my Charger! I guess I’m not as big of a music aficionado as some?

Haven't even turned the radios on in my cars...but my Ram 1500 Limited has an awesome sound system...

I’m happy to report that I bought OEM subwoofers on EBay and the first song I played with the Bass up was “From Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica. I now concur that the HK is awesome! With that said, it still doesn’t even compare to the whine of the supercharger when the audio is off!!!

What settings are you using?

Im not great at tuning stereos but one think I found made a big difference in my Challenger was moving the balance/fade like 2 steps to the rear from center.

That was the only way I could minimize what I heard as a hardness, or glare, in the upper mid-range.
