Just watch......there will start to be awnings to pull under so you don't have to sit in the blazing sun or cold rain, picnic tables, maybe even menus that you can order food from and a girl on roller skates will bring it out to you as you wait for your car to charge.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Like software, cell phones and so many products we have come to depend on, sellers want to force us to switch to a subscription model to smooth their cash flow. Leasing is just a variant the automakers have pushed to make it more palatable.

If you are the type that needs/wants/can afford to have the latest & greatest it can be a good deal. But if you have a 'buy & hold', don't need the newest mentality it's a waste of $$. For example, I still use the version of Quickbooks I bought in 2012 & Office 2007 to run my rescue business. They constantly nag me to 'upgrade' to their subscription service, but I have refused. Those older versions are stable and have all the functionality I need/use so why toss $$$ at features I don't need and will likely never utilize !

We live in the county & houses are sparse
Guy has an electric motor bike
He stops for a charge as he is running low on battery power ( the dumb ass got lost ) & some directions
He takes a quick charge & is on his way assuming he can make his destination
He drove up the road which was blocked due to an accident
Drove around trying to get around the accident & ran low on power again
30 minutes later he is back looking for more power
Currently the options in the county are limited to charge EV s so you better know your shit prior to takeoff

I'm still sporting the 'new' flip phone I got last fall. Only reason I have it is because of the switch to 5G and 3G going away. AT&T offered it as a free replacement of my old 3G flip (which was a free phone from them when they went to 4G and my old 2G phone was no longer supported).

That's why I got the new S22 Ultra, my old Samsung A71 wouldn't hold a charge very long. I don't change phones until I need to, and this time I decided to get a little better phone so that I can record better video.
