Thar sounds backwards. People on the east side pay way way more than we do in insurance. I can't remember all of the reasons but one reason was vehicle theft.

I’ve got Progressive and the Cat alone is nearly $200/month. I’ve got a house and 4 other cars insured with them and no tickets. So much for bundling. And that’s after they cut all the rates in Mich last year with their auto insurance reform bill. They were the cheapest when I signed on a number of years back but maybe I need to check around. Living in Wayne County, which includes Detroit, doesn’t help.

Progressive sucks. I had them and they raised rates for no reason. I went to Geco and paying over 40% less.

The 3 companies I have used have always been cheaper than the one before the first couple of years. But they raise their rates and are just as expensive about the 4th year. I believe its worth shopping insurance regularly and will start doing that soon. My vehicle insurance is cheaper with Farmers but the home insurance has almost doubled in seven years

Where you live plays a big role. I live outside the big cities and was told mine would be cheaper if I lived in a big city. I have more of a chance of hitting a deer, but less chance of hitting another car

I have a larger chance of hitting an elk than another car, but must have a better driving record than BULL since I pay about $20 less per month.

I don't insure with Farmers but I did get a letter from them indicating that as both cars are over 700hp Farmers is unable to insure them. This is all part of the EV BS plan.

Seen farmers shaft people before. Go w usaa, or at least.look at them. Used to military officers only, so rates were low and refund checks at end of year high, but theyve broadened it so much now if your grandpa served you're in so rates have climbed.

Still my best insurance experience ever. Except one year when we had 2 flooding losses in a month and they got a little agitated. Lol

I just insured my 2021 charger hellcat redeye with American family yesterday and it is 1000 for 6 months. About 166 per month. Not bad but still high. I insure 11 cars, 2 side by sides, 2 motorcycles, motor home and race trailer, and house. You'd think there should be a fleet discount or something.

Yes, full coverage with higher limits.

Frankly, if having to pay three times more, I'd probably reconsider having 10+ cars.

I have had a great experience with Cincinatti Insurance Group. Pay about $600 per year for full coverage for a 2016 HC. If you have a clean driving record and good credit rating, I would suggest reaching out to them. They even keep the full coverage in force during the winter. Had one insurance claim with them a few years back and it didn't affect the rate.
