I always loved the 69 MOPARS, I would have gladly driven any of them...RR, Cuda, Charger, it didn't matter!!!

Lucky to say that I always had a fantasy car and still have one with my Hellcat. Here’s some of my old RR’s. The yellow one is a real Hemi vert. I have owned (and still own one) a 69 Mopar Musclecar every day since 1969 and love them too...but have to admit that I like my modern Mopar muscle more than the old.

I had several over the years but probably dreamt about a 57 Chevy longer than any other when I was growing up. Then around 1965, it was the tri-power GTO. Then my fantasy became a 67 Hemi Coronet R/T. My first car was a new 69 383 4 speed RoadRunner when I was 20 but I did then and still dream today about owning and racing a real 68 or 69 Hemi super stocker. There were also many dreams about an L-88 or a LT-1 Corvette here and there but never swayed from Mopars since 1969. LOL

You just brought back a memory I had forgotten. My uncles own a roofing company, and the summer of 96 before I went into the military were out in the country getting ready to do this guys garage. And he says hold on let me get the car out. So were all waiting and we hear the sound of the rumbling V8 and out from the garage comes a 67 R/T Coronet. The guy bought it new when he was 16 with all the money he had saved. It had a 440 6-pack and was all original except the exhaust. Had 30k original miles too. Beautiful car.

Ive got a buddy in Raleigh with one of these. Actually his collection is now larger than Jerry Seinfelds, as in they are on a first name basis with Porsche in Germany. Great people though. Anyways its amazing this car had in-car tire pressure monitoring which was hi tech back then lol. I think it's currently valued at 10 million plus.

1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. I never could make it happen, ended up with a 70 Dodge Challenger R/T and put a 426 Hemi in it. Still have it, doesn't get out much anymore but I still enjoy it.

What was your fantasy car ?
I was out in the shop today and came across some old car posters I had collected in the eighties and it got me wondering - what was your fantasy car growing up? For an all out (money is no issue) it was the Lamborghini Countach - I had the Apline stereo poster. As a real world car (one I could maybe afford) I always wanted an AAR Cuda - just a bad ass 340-6 barrel with a 4 speed.
