For those that have asked and others interested, the date is May 21, 2022 in Bowling Green, KY. More details to follow but this will be primarily a hangout/car show event.

We got the short end of the stick on a track rental date for 2022 but I'm gonna set it up so we can still make some passes, just no official race classes.

Hell they didn't even give you your own day, other stuff going on that day. We have friends that will be there the week before for the GN event

I was at MoParty last year but couldn't make it the day earlier to hit up ChallengerFest. I was planning on trying to make it this year since I'll definitely be back at MoParty but I guess not anymore. dang, at least I know now

We did the Moparty thing as a result of Covid. Holley are really awesome to work with but the track has struggled with us on Thursday and the NMCA guys that run racing for Holley have gotten to be a bit challenging to deal with. I also got a LOT of feedback that most everyone used to coming to CF preferred it completely separate. It's definitely not Moparty. Nothing wrong with Moparty CF just isn't that. We were originally on the Beech Bend schedule, but I asked them to remove us unless I could get a Saturday in Sept or Oct.

The car show also has gotten to where it's two or three times the size of the racing folks so there's that.

Are you still planning on a group rate hotel? I’ll have to see how the wife feels it’s a month before her due date 😬 I don’t mind a little travel to come hang out especially if others are going to make it.

This is definitely one of those "should come" type events. Hanging out with everyone and talking cars all weekend is awesome and the Peach State Challenger guys always bring a party LOL.

Hopefully this way you get more time to hangout. You seemed to be non stop. I heard you say last year was most likely the last year it being like that. Either way it’s just about getting everyone together.

Yeah it's sort of a labor of love no joke. This will be year 13 for me running it. I wish someone would come a long and want to take it over to be honest. I should have more time to hang out for sure. Historically I've been able to relax a bit after the racing, so this year may be a blessing in disguise. The past few years the car show was 2-3x the racing group as well so we can focus on that and see how it does.

We should consider a tuning/data logging demo for people interested.

Yeah I’d be willing to do some sort of demo and set up to help people navigate the software.
