Trucker Protest Has Impeded Production

Anybody know what the heck they’re protesting over? Is the gain if they’re successful really worth the havoc and millions in losses they’re causing???

It's a real life William Wallace moment, now paint ya faces blue and join in the fight for "FREEDOM!". There are plans for these to sprout up within the U. S. also possibly targeting the Super Bowl and DC.

The Ontario Gov't has now declared a "State of Emergency" effective midnight tonight claiming they will now have the power to enforce blockading bridges and roads. Violators face a maximum of $100,00 fine and up to a year in prison. They also face permanent revocation of their CDLs. Paper notices are being handed out to Truckers currently part of the blockade with the aforementioned warning.

Don't get me wrong, I support their efforts 100%.

I can wait another month or so for a car I wouldn't be able to enjoy anyway once we lose the freedom to even drive such cars if the tyrants get their way.

The are peacefully clearing the Bridge protestors as I type
Small group of people
Maybe 50 vehicles
More spectators then anything
Emergency lanes were always open
Police are hitting 1 vehicle at a time with court orders fines etc

Loss of license
Loss of vehicle
Fines
Arrest
Jail

Too much for most

Mandate restrictions will be announced next week in Ontario

Politicians say it has nothing to to with protests

The protest in Ottawa will take a bigger effort
There is 400 to 500 trucks there

That’s all well and good, but open bridges mean nothing if the truckers moving goods aren’t allowed across them because they’ve refused an ineffective and politically-sanctioned “vaccine” shot. Unless those restrictions are eased, this will do little good, although I’m sure some operators are already vaccinated. I love how the Premier thought to characterize their actions as a “siege” without a second thought, but has said nothing about the senseless, unlawful, and ultimately futile lockdowns and government-ordered COVID restrictions that millions of people are still dealing with every day. What about the mom and pop stores? The small businesses? Guys like Hick who can’t get a headlight? Some people lost everything with the government’s gun pointed at their heads, and for what? Have they not been besieged?

So like the politicians, he wants the trucks removed. His suggestion (also somewhat like a typical politician's thinking) was to slash their tires.

Should be interesting. When government wants to keep dictating and infringing on people’s freedoms eventually there’s a breaking point. Surprised it hasn’t happened here yet but I think the lockdowns have been more scattered.
