And the battery is not replaceable.

And I've maxed out the memory on it and it's full...

There are some & dealers are hoping for a desperate 'gotta have it now' buyer.

Saw a base STX Challenger a while back with a $10K bump sticker in addition to their 'regular' $2.5k bump for useless wax, fabric protection etc. + $899 dealer fee + $250 tag fee (over the fee actually charged by the state).

Just insane IMO, but apparently stupid ppl are ponying up Of course, 2, 3, 4 years down the line they will want to trade and be soooooooooo underwater !

The best part of that whole article is that they finally, FOR ONCE, point out that the chips that are in short supply are the cheapo $1 chips used for very basic functions. When I was with Compaq / HP years ago we built those (and the higher ends) right here in the country. What the hell do we think will happen if we have to go to war with China? We're making sure they've got us by the balls.

As for cars coming back and prices dropping... can't wait.
