holy crap what`s the back space of your wheels? any more than 6.40 to 6.50 backspace your rubbing bad. both my 18 an 15 inch wheels are 6.37 inch backspace. my 305-45-18 required nothing, my 315-60-15s needed the hammer cause tires are so tall. 18s far left banded 15s on right

The wheel likely matters a lot. You guys need to list your wheels when comparing what fits and how.

I'm curious if a 315 would work on my Weld 17x10s. I need to go look up BS.

My Welds are 6.7BS and 30mm offset.

just looked up your wheel specs, your backspace is 6.68 inches.
mine are 6.37 inches, the inboard bead on your wheel is just over a quarter inch closer to sheet metal than mine an the taller the tire the worst it gets were the metal curves at the frt of wheel well.

That's more then what I did ..... But I'm running poverty stars at the moment. 17 X 9.5
6.125 back spacing with a 22.5 offset

By the look of it your rims might have too much offset .

your wheels are much better suited for 315s.
the least amount of back space = more inboard clearance
the taller the tire = the least amount of clearance were the tread meets the sidewall.

As much as I dislike these wheels they do fit pretty good with the 315's .

Yep, I think mine have too much BS to run 315 without some kinda spacer.

I really miss my car already . But on a plus note I have a custom torque converter in my garage already and I'm just waiting on my new cylinder heads!..... Plus some other sneaky upgrades

The DA should be way better unfortunately the baro will be lower than I would like to see this time of year.
Hopefully the rain pisses of so we can get it done. I doubt there will be any other chances this year.
