I have said it many times and I was not a Ford guy growing up I was anti Ford. But if it wasn’t for Ford never stop building the Mustang like the Camaro and Challenger. Don’t forget Dodge and Chevy stopped building them but the Mustang continues on would we have the Challenger today if Ford have given up like the others did?

One of my really really good friends with some fast as hell cars in his day once sent me a bunch of footage of him driving around trolling for races in convertible hotrod (forget which one) wearing a white full face helmet. Could not BELIEVE he'd really do it; turns out he had to wear it because of eye surgery. Still got a good laugh out of it.

1966 289 midnight blue metallic over light blue, including the cut your fingers off factory exposed AC blower motor

2003 Mustang GT (big whoop - a whopping 260 HP at the crank stock lol) convertible with factory chrome wheels - got tons of admiring comments on that car, including from the DPS Trooper who endless espoused how he could not get over how awesome the car looked while he wrote me out a raft of tickets lol this black girl in a traffic jam damn I thought she was going to have a freaking heartattack (evidently was her favorite color combo including the wheels) no other chick has ever freaked out so hard over one of my cars - I think that's because that car was accessible to the general public (slow, not too expensive, large numbers so everyone knows what it is compared to say the GTO or the HC which appeal more to a niche of folks)

Was out cruising the country roads of Wisco, with a still wet drivers license, in my parents ’65, 289-2bbl Mustang automatic. A proud new owner of a ’70 Boss-2 comes up and wants to race. Wound up running twice and beating him twice. I saw the guy again a few years later at a wedding and we reminisced about that night. He said he was so pissed at loosing he sold the car 2 weeks later
