On way home with round two in the back, Isn’t much left to save from round one except expensive mantle pieces LOL
This ratio a little bit higher then previous, going to be more geared towards roll and street racing, this track quarter-mile stuff with this boat is just too hard on parts. 10 second Street quarters has always been the goal and I think it’ll make such happen without much problem, Maybe even improve the 0 to 60 times, we shall see.

I did an oil change with my pup in the garage earlier. I swear it tacked on a half hour. He kept trying to take stuff. Believe it or not I’m not 100 percent sure where my 10 went
My guess it’s in the yard somewhere after a day or so of digestion lol

I think with the gear set being a "close ratio" it will help more then hinder . I always hated that dump truck first gear . Your car will be much more enjoyable on the street . The close ratio will help with the rpm spread between gears too at the track . All You need now is a "no lift shift" .

Ready for test ride as soon as it’s a decent enough hour on a Sunday morning to wake up the neighborhood lol
Changed the cats out with 100 mile off the show room floor take offs. It’s amazing how much tighter to the floor boards the exhaust can be when done right.
Check out the input shaft gear, I don’t know how I even had 4th gear to get how with? I think I was driving on the synchro ring?? Well I can say this gear ratio pulls no where near what the 2.10 second 1.43 third pulled like :(. Third used to pull .75-.80 G’s of acceleration, get .55 now :(. Guess a 3.90 Diff will be in my future.

First Dyno day to see where she’s at. Rear view to see if she’s running clean. Conservative 18 degree tune for the moment at least :), only a 2.85 pulley and ID 1050 injectors, nice smooth 932 HP and 780 Ft Lbs of Tq. of daily drivability. Thank you Dodge brothers!!

I am taking the covers off the fuel rails to sea if it runs any cooler. Inputs?? Saw 1 tuday at the hot rod shop that had his hers removed. Also had a chiller installed like the 1 I invet ted. Coming off the a/c system. Bastards.

Speaking of temps. Well so much for Misimoto Tstats being the best. Did a 3-4 tuning pull, all was well, then noticed coolant temp creeping up, 205, 210, 215, 220, started looking for a place to pull over, luckily a dead end road right ahead. Pulled over, opened hood, fan running on high, 225, 230 shut her off. My heart sunk yet again, first thoughts popped a head gasket, no way, studded. So started poking around, lower radiator hose stone cold, f n stuck Tstat. Luckily there was an Advance Auto a 1/2 mile down the road. Got a new 180 CarQuest premium Tstat (Motorad in the box), bought a cheap 13 mm box end wrench, picked up a gallon of distilled water and box of 1 gallon zip lock bags to catch the coolant and changed Stat on the side of the road. Hour later back on my way. So I guess the motorad is staying in there as it’s actually doing a better job at stable temps then the Misi, lesson learned. So let’s test the Motorad, ran few street 1/4’s last night, finally getting used to launching this new trans. Getting close to my no burnout launch from anything any time 10 second street 1/4 goal. Almost 1 G in both first and second, damn I miss my 1.43 .75G pulling third gear that would sure be of help to the quest. Guess have to increase the POWER now somehow lol
This new Tranzilla with REM polished shifting intervals does shift like butter just like the builder told me it would, hats off to Mike at RSG 👍
