I’ll regard my HC as I would a sixties muscle car. It’s appeal lies in its mechanical nature, not in its being the quickest thing on the road. I’m no great mechanic, but I’m an even worse electrician. No interest at this point.
Well, it did appear to show 4 wheel burnouts...all wheel drive would be a plus. Not crazy about EV power, but if it as badass as they are promoting, might have to consider it.
Keeping the Hellcat as it will be my coffin (no joke, have a 10x18 plot and money set aside). I'd be interested in getting one and then doing raceweek with one to let them know how fucked it is that it's going to take me a few hours to charge instead of filling up at a station in 10 minutes.
The grid is not going to be able to handle this...
Half of them don't work, so they can't afford a damn thing. All they do is drugs and video games, no need for a car anyway. It amazes me how few young people nowadays even bother to get a drivers license.
I'm in. Like I said, AWD is what I'm after, and I doubt it will be slower than the HC / RE. Can't wait to see it. And as with my interest in the Ford lightning, I think the majors will have a much better support network for their offerings and probably better reliability than Tesla and the other smaller brands.
