My local Dodge dealer GM was fired 2 years ago for basically the same thing. He cost the dealership like a million dollars up in fines from FCA.

In the article it was called family discount, he was claiming to be related to these people, and he was selling codes that belonged to his coworkers without them knowing.
He made $700k doing it… lol

When I was given a code, it specifically was F&F, and that's even the way it showed up on the order sheet.

Maybe there's a separate plan that is only "Family"??

There are 2 separate discounts. The F&F can be given to basically anyone and is 1% below invoice. The 'real' employee discount is 5% below invoice and is limited to the employee and immediate family (spouse, kids, bro/sis, grandparents, parents, legit in-laws). In both cases a Stellantis employee only gets a few of each per year and they are supposedly tracked and monitored because an employee can potentially be fired for giving/selling their discount to someone who does not qualify. Apparently they are not monitored very well though since it took many employees complaining to corporate that their discounts were being used without their consent to get an investigation going which led to this guy being caught.

Trust me...of all the things FCA should be concerned about...this shouldn't be on the list...
