Bought a new to me truck!

So on Monday I got a great email, an email I’ve been waiting for.



Then it dawned upon me I don’t have a way to haul the Hellcat to A: Florida, B: The Track C: My current Ram has 240k on it and is a 2006.

Enter this beauty:




Since it was the end of the month and they have quotas, it was a smoking deal. 2016 SLT BIGHORN 4x4 with Max Tow package, crew cab. The 5.7 is more than enough, it’s peppy for sure! My dog and I are more excited about the interior. The interior is so damn nice and is doggo approved! I’m currently looking for a trailer for the truck and look forward to beginning a new phase of my life Bradenton here I come! Truck is CPO and comes with a 7y - 100k warranty.

I am also blessed to have been able to afford this.

Looks nice. I see you were up in my old area at Keene Dodge. They do a good business and have been there forever.

Not sure if having a cabin air filter is a big deal to you or not, but these trucks don't come with them. However, you can do about a 15 minute mod and install one.

You need two parts:
the little plastic filter door/retainer
Chrysler Genuine 68052292AA Air Conditioning Filter Access Door

WIX Filters - 24578 Cabin Air Panel


You an see in this video that you only need to cut out the shape of the filter and not the entire opening

I have 1 new left over filter from my 14 Ram 1500 that I'd be happy to donate to a new home.
