So this filter keeps changing pricing depending on how I view it.

If I'm logged into my account and use this full link, it comes up heavily discounted. (Currently $9.74)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006T08WXM/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If I use only the basic URL, or a Private session (not logged in) then it's full price...??? (Currently $13.95)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006T08WXM

Really, this was meant to be a "Hey, it's on sale thread", but I'm really not sure, so check it out if you need it. I've seen it as low as ~$7 while in my account...!!!

I guess it's really just proof the the Shenanigans(TM) that Amazon plays....

Yep Bull those links show me those different prices. Not sure who sells those filters on amazon but I did get a few where the internal ports were somewhat restricted on a few filters.

They show a 'used' one for $8.17

And yes, Amazon does mess with the prices of things you are viewing in an attempt to get you to bite !

There's a slightly used one at that link for $7.10. Any takers?

I have seen that Amazon can wildly move their prices on items. There is a particular coffee I buy on Amazon, and I've seen it fluctuate by a lot. If you are interested in tracking prices on Amazon, and getting alerts when the price of an item drops to a certain level, I'd recommend you try a browser addon called "CamelCamelCamel" (not a joke). If you add that and create a free account, they will track the pricing on Amazon, and send you an email when it drops below a threshold that you set. They also can show you the historical pricing of items, if they have been tracking it already. Here is their chart showing historic prices on this filter. Just a PSA for the group - I'm not affiliated with CamelCamelCamel, I'm just a user of the tool.

I use CCC a lot, but I don't know if this pricing shows up.

I'll go check.

The "official" filter for my Hellcat is the black one. Commonly called MO-899 (aka 4884899AC). This is what my 2017 came with from the factory.
The White SRT filter shown here actually predates Hellcats - it was a Viper filter, I think. It fits our engines and is the same size as ours.
I recall seeing previous discussions about it in the forums. I was using the SRT Filter for a while, but I have now reverted to the original black filter. I don't have the detailed specs to see how they differed - do they offer different filtering capabilities? Do they have different resistances to flow (different pressure drops)? Who knows...

Yes, the SRT filter is a little more restrictive flow because it filters a little more, but the MO-899 flows a little better & is the correct one for my 17 HC & on all HC's & can't beat the price, convenience & Mopar brand at Walmart $6.50.
They also have the oil filer for my 2021 Ram truck MO-339.

I used to work at Amazon, that was five years ago before the service. What you are seeing is a combination of the automated pricing system and referral tag engines. Amazon will compete with other markets in that vertical by scanning competitors sites and doing a lot of price matching. IRT the two different URLs one contains just an ASIN and the other contains "ref" which links to the amazon affiliate id, it looks up the id in the various databases (Digicat, etc... w/joins) and then chooses the lowest price depending on your entry point. Amazon does a lot of backend processing just to get you a good price depending on your entry point.

Sweet buy, who doesn't want a used filter. A month ago I saw some oil for sale on amazon that said 'Barely used' should have picked up 50 gallons of that to.
