If you want to see "less intelligent" then listen to some of the people from Texas that complained during the winter power outage that all their food spoiled (despite having the world's biggest freezer outside), that they couldn't get water (despite having tons of snow outside to melt on their gas stoves) and that they couldn't get their gas stoves to light with no electricity.

My sister moved to Houston years ago from NY...come to think of it...she's not quite as smart as when she left....You might be on to something
