I finally broke down and even got an Amazon cc. 5% back on Amazon purchases. Competitive rewards everywhere else. Bought their stock at $800. It’s $3350 now. Still hate Amazon but have made and saved money from them.

You just can’t beat getting stuff delivered to the door for the same prices as searching and searching. This oil is a perfect example, that it don’t get more easy than that. Plus it backs up my pictures and notes of the oil changes with a permanent record of purchase if I need it for any reason.

Did not use Amazon, but unfortunately I had a reason to order two tires this week. They are very special in size. Plus I want them flipping now! One BIG tire place said they called the manufacturer, the tires are not made right now and they could not tell me when they could get any. Okay? Not! Next tire place, just a keystroke or two. Same price, in stock in Indiana. Delivered to just outside of my garage door this morning, notified those heat cycled jewels were waiting to be pulled into permanent warmth again and out of the below zero weather where I did not have to go. I cannot even count the items on the way to my house right now.

600 misc. push pins? $20!

Just fixed my favorite chair I broke in a fit of Covid rage the other day. Found the rarest steel part made to replace the damn plastic shit that would have cost me $1,200 for another chair. Or would have needed a repair man for the chair? And on and on...

Me too. Except a coincidence on that deal. Their stock has been sucking lately compared with some other stuff at this market top. Going to sell every last bit of Amazon this coming week to continue to invest in Cannabis. That is the next gold. If you can’t beat them?? Then?

I used to work in my Grandfathers gas station. WAY back in elementary school. I remember when oil spiked up to $1/qt. He was torn that he had to sell it for that price.

This was right around the time that he had to get new pumps because they were so old they only went to $.999/gal. For one summer, he simply sold it at $.999/gal and most of the customers would tip some amount to make up for it.

Every damn time I pay more than $1/qt, it freaks me out, and that was ~40years ago??
