Met a new friend today. He took several of us to view his private collection. I saw my dream car that the wife promised she would buy for me next year. 1969 Dodge Charger RT/SE with the 426 Hemi and 4 speed. Vinyl top, bucket seats and drop dead beautiful.

Probably why I like the Daytona more then the Superbird. The body lines are awesome

Private collections are always fun. The stories behind the cars are just as good as the cars themselves.

Not to hijack the thread, but there is a mostly GM collection up for auction. Sad really. Rick Treworgys collection was in an old Wal-Mart in Punta Gorda Florida. "Muscle Car City". Apparently the pandemic did him in. Well, everything goes to auction Jan 22 at Mecums.

Matching numbers 68 GTX. 1 of 11. He had about a total of 30 cars but I only took pics of the car I love.

Also a matching numbers SS 454 Chevrolet.
