Who waves to other Hellcat owners?

Wow, most of you guys are a-holes

I’m surprised most of you wouldn’t wave to at least other Hellcats. Hell, when I’m in my Viper, I wave to Hellcats b/c Mopar Brotherhood. Most, if not all, have waved back.

Maybe it’s a regional thing?

Yeah it’s possibly a regional thing and I have waved at other Challenger cars. There are so many Challengers in the Virginia Maryland DC metro area which are owned by so many age groups and female as well. Most seem to be out of touch when you look at them and sure their are the select few who will chase me down to see the Redeye but for the most part most are clueless. And their distracted since their too busy talking on the phone or texting.

I wave to any high(er) performance Challenger or old Mopars. Seldom get a wave back. Disappointing when I'm in front at a stop light and there's another across the intersection, at the front or near the front. Light turns green and the other driver looks straight ahead or away. No wave, no acknowledgement whatsoever. My brother in law had a bad ass Corvette in the '60s - early '70s and there was that comradery among other Corvette owners. They flashed their lights, even if it had hidden headlights, which would light up behind the grille. I always thought that was cool. I guess not all Challenger owners have the passion.

Oh, I pretty much ignore the Chargers. They have four doors...

I wave if it's a 392 or up and they nod or initially wave, anything else usually ends up in annoying revs (sxt, gt, r/t) The r/t with a muffler delete is still decently loud tho to be honest.

I swear that in 3 1/2 years and over 6,300 miles, I have never seen another Hellcat on the road and can’t even remember seeing a Challenger, Mustang GT or a Camaro SS! I honestly keep my eyes open for muscle cars. I had one occasion to play with a Porsche on I-95 coming back from MD but he backed off and a loud lowered and pretty fast Mustang with dark tint who followed me for a few miles on US1 South of Kennett Square, Pa. We did go 90-100+ for those few miles on a real empty 4 lane on a Sunday afternoon. I never waved at him because he couldn’t keep up. Honest!

I'll wave, nod or honk at any cool vehicle I cross paths with, hung out at the local AutoZone for about 30 awhile back chatting with a guy and his new GTR.

I do to other Challengers. It is a carryover from riding the HD, we definitely give the wave to each other, I also wave at "other" brand riders, so it is easy to give a wave to others, it is an old habit of mine. Sometimes I want to wave to the motorcycle riders while in the HC, but I know they will likely just flip my lame four wheel vehicle off

I wave. And surprising enought got 2 vipers out for a spin behind each other at a traffic light. I am in front coming at them and both of them flash the lights and give a thumbs up.
I of course respond in kind.

Tough to "down low". Yesterday I was thinking of this thread, we did an extended pleasure cruise. I guess I could hang the arm down and out the car and try it.

I think a couple of HD drivers wanted to wave, they could not bring themselves around to do it, but they twitched.

Yep, it is friendly and fun to acknowledge other performance machines.

Definitely do, but it is also a southern thing. For example, it is not uncommon if you are turning left across traffic at a light, for the car in the other lane, going straight, to wave you across when the light turns green. So lots of waves and thumbs up for any Mopar Muscle.

Yup, a while back I stuck a huge thumbs up out the window to another hellcat owner on the freeway during rush hour. Dude was texting but as soon as he looked up, gave me a wave back like I was some weird kid fanboy'ing. There's not a whole lot of Hellcats in my area, so I like to acknowledge any that I see.

To the guy in a black hellcat charger with carbon stripes and tinted windows, that was me sticking a thumbs up at you! Oh, don't text and drive!

I recently came across a Hellcat badged V6 Challenger. Complete with 235 'skinnies'. On all 4 corners. I did not wave.
