Banking wise they seem fine, other than I think their investments suck and I no longer invest with them. I have a credit card with them that gives me unlimited 2.5% cashback on everything, which I like because it's simple, and I also like how easy it is to access/move money around with them. One thing that pissed me off was when I deposited a $30k certified check through the mobile deposit function of the app (after speaking with them on the phone prior) and then they held the money for like 2 weeks. It made me mad because they told me it'd be fine on the phone, then they held it, then I had to move some money around because I couldn't access the $30k and was making another large purchase very soon after.
I'm sick of my rates going up with insurance. I have had a claim with them like once and that was when we got hit by a fricking Tornado! Otherwise, in the past 20 years I've been with them, nothing.
I got pre-approved today to finance this car with them, but the max loan value was $50k (they will not loan anyone more than $50k for an auto loan right now, no matter what, due to COVID for some reason). I planned on financing like $55k (I like to borrow money when it's cheap and keep dumping my money in the market when it's down), so I called them and asked "Are you really not going to loan me another $5k?" and they said "No." Again, it's not the $5k that is a big deal, it's just you figure they would treat a customer of 20 years different than the brand new 18 year old that just joined.
