Transbrake Available Now For Your Hellcat ZF 8HP Transmission.

Wasn't aware this was even a thing I will be using this with a Holly Dominator on my Hawk and using the paddle shifter as my release button.
Freaking dope! I think u can send ur TCU to them and they can modify it for u either way it's a pretty simple mod.

Pretty sure the Holly is required for this to work maybe someone else can chime in and confirm........ But since the Gateway is now available
its at least doable.

The stand alone Holly does have CAN compatibility with this unit and there are factory CAN cars that work as well but u need
the Holly for the Hellcat as far as CAN goes I believe. But they do say it works without the Holly just not sure how.

I heard it's for just setting up an 8 speed Trans in a "Swap" Car so that it's not an automatic anymore and it's a manual Transmission.

No. It has 8 different driving modes and can select from Auto, manual, transbrake, sequential, etc.... BMW guys use it all the time in their auto 8HP.

Why can't they make the trans with a transbrake like the demon? So it would work with the factory pcm...

No. It has 8 different driving modes and can select from Auto, manual, transbrake, sequential, etc.... BMW guys use it all the time in their auto 8HP.

This TCU also supports a digital clutch so you can drive it exactly like if you were driving a manual trans car.
Clutch is digital but world and feels like a regular clutch

Your ZF 8HP gearbox will need a modification to bypass the internal TCU. PCB board is soldered in place of the factory TCU and all gearbox commands will be executed externally using TurboLamik TCU.

It's pretty new as of 2025 so I don't know of any hellcats with it yet. Seems to work well with the Holly. A real freaking TB would be dope tho.
