No wonder we can make so much noise! That gas IS high powered. As long as we can burn an appropriate amount of rubber with the gas, it’s being hybrid enough for me. I can always get on my 45 mpg Harley when things get bad.

to put a windmill on their property.

As it is now, if they would plug in when the sun is shining, that helps. Go home and plug in (as most people need to) accentuates a big problem of grid supply/demand as the sun is also setting.

I just don't see how this would be feasible there, or here in the US for sure. We've spent some time in Scotland in out of the way places with a rental car. I would imagine residents that have lengthy drives will find this impractical. Unless a way is found to radically improve trip distance for a given vehicle it won't work for plenty of people, anywhere.
