My point exactly. And it's not just Jeeps and yeah the Rubicon is high falutin' trim, but still.

I ordered a fully loaded 1977 Jeep CJ7 with hardtop, V8 , auto, Renegade Levi Package...(all the options) I believe it was around $7200... at that time I could have purchased a fully loaded Camaro Z28 or a PontiacSmokey and the Bandit Trans AM for the same price.....

Jeeps were never cheap.... fully optioned....

But they always had (and still do) have great resale value...
