Had a CCI driveshaft and diff brace installed on my challenger. Accelerating 0-3mph and coming to a complete stop around 3-1mph I hear a metal-metal sound almost like a clunk.

Also heard this when tires broke loose a loud pop.

Cruising up to 100mph I hear no noise or any problems.

Going to check all the bolts tomorrow to be sure nothing is loose.

Anyone ever experienced this when having these parts installed?

Whatever the problem is it has to do with the CCI driveshaft or diff brace you installed your Challenger.

Good luck with that.

Perhaps it's not balanced correct or the diff needs new fluid. Haven't had an issue with the DSS Carbon DS and DIRS diff brace up to 160mph. 2.62 diff w 305's.

My CCI has been 165 on 315/50's and I don't seem to have this clunk.

What I do have is the typical LX car diff whine that is very skillfully masked by the stock 2pc driveshaft.

With a 4" aluminum one piece you WILL. HEAR. EVERYTHING. Going on in the back half of that car.

Double check clearances around the shaft itself. Retorque the bolts. Try rotating it in 90* increments. Change the fluid. Examine the axles themselves. Or a mix of all of these.

Or just throw a 9" under it and be done.

Or the Hemituner Billet ZF housing.

I believe a one piece can end up close to the exhaust pipe. Maybe a little contact going on there?

EDIT: Normal noises, I'm paranoid. 1 piece allowed me to hear what was already there
