I wouldn't trust ceramic brake rotors on a daily driven car! High performance track use? OK Not on a daily driver vehicle.

This is another thing I don't understand with the whole EV push.
They are stating this is basically because of the chip shortage and then a little because of low demand (I think it's the other way around) so doesn't an EV use a lot more chips to function than an ICE car? If there is not enough chips to run the current cars what makes anyone think there will be enough to run an EV?? Maybe I'm wrong but it sure seems logical that they would require more.
