You have to see this. Your blood may boil, but I think this shows that you’re kinda screwed from the hit… We knew Stellantis was part of the problem, their security sucks. But did you ever stop to think there are scumbags working at the factory… marking these cars as targets before they ever leave the assembly line? Consider this if you’re a 170 owner… there may be a tracker on the car that a thief installed allowing them to see your car, but also gather data allowing them to compile a pretty good understanding of where you go with it and when. This video doesn’t explicitly state that the tracker is installed at the factory, and I think the story is actually that after they steal it they embed the tracker so that they can steal it again after they sell it. BUT, nothing is stopping them from doing it during assembly too.

There was a guy who bought a new Toyota that had an aftermarket tracker. He did some digging and it ended up being the dealer putting them on their in case it ever needed to be repoed. Total b.s.
