New PB again.

A few wks ago I got a new pb by .001.
I also beat my 60' time of 1.516 with quite a few 1.50x since then.
Yesterday I ran another new pb. As a matter of fact the old one was just about the middle of my runs yesterday. Hopefully I get to run quicker again soon. LOL
Yes there was a little weight out of the car from the rear seat and fr sway bar. But the rear belts are still there as is the trunk liner, carpet cover and the factory compressor.
But as far as weight reduction goes. The car had enough gas to drive the 90+ miles round trip and make 12 passes and still has a hair under 1/4 tank now at home.
Most already know my combo. I will get into detail later if required. For now I will just leave this here.
And we can debate how we got there later. 😀

Thanks. I really didn't think it could do it this year. Then it started with the 1.51's again and I figured we got this. LOL
Last weekend with hpindy, Markp, and oilburner it finally did it.
Yesterday was awesome as I think I had 3 like that at least.
I let off on 1 pass to avoid breaking out. That run was really close to this run. I let off early as shown by my 119mph trap speed. Still ran a 10.50 on a 10.48 dial in. So glad I let off. LOL
Then the semi final I had to run the track champ and red lit as well as spunnnn off the line😕. So toast no matter what. LOL

I know I'm replying to my own post. But some time before the aborted10.50 pass I got a p0420 code in the car. Possibly due to running 91 with octane booster as this time of year the 94 has octane booster in it anyways I suspect. Or that and a combination of having 1 run with the car cold. 😕 I used a full can for about 6 gallons of 91 that I added. Oops
I will clear the code and see what happens this week before going back next weekend. I did get the recall for the cats 2wks ago.

It's a recall for the catalytic converters. I think it's a Canadian thing.

Nice run Jim. I think Stella is the only other that got in to 10.40s stock. Best I ever did was 10.51.

Tell me a little more about the F sway bar removal ? I've thought of this but wasn't sure how it would do or react on the street.
sway bar weight ?
& do you drive it to the track with it off ?
do you think it helps the 60' ?

I removed it on my old car. Biggest thing I noticed was wallowing on the big end under braking and turning. I was running skinnies at the time.
