They run very good and are fast. I know, it's too far out of the box for you.

Not a real fan of GM powerplants...or 911 styling...like puttin mustard on a jelly sandwich

I like to watch unusual builds. Should be fun.

Personally, the LS motor loves mods and is cheap to build unlike a Mopar which is probably 3X the cost. No Mopar tax on this build.

It’s also vey compact and will fit where some other V8s won’t.

I saw an LT1 shoehorned into a Corvair. It fit fine after the back seat was removed. I've also seen a 914 with a Subaru WRX motor in it.

The Ford Windsor is fairly narrow, too.

If you go mid engine in a Corvair, there’s all kinds of room.
I guess I was thinking of current V8s. Compared to a gen 3 Hemi or a Ford Coyote, the GM motors take up less real estate.
