Looking like it's time to hang it up. It will probably kill him since he knows or lives nothing else.

At this point I am just glad to see him active and talking. He is a very important part of the NHRA. I would like to see him racing, but I do realize he is better off stepping aside and being a spokesman...

I've seen him race many times, great competitor. I'm sure he will make a wise decision, he is one of the greatest.

Oh guys he is not driving a Funny Car ever again. IMO no way sorry to say. His brain got knocked way too hard to consider those g-forces and the necessary reaction times for fundamental control of an item like that ever again.

Most professionals..don't know when to hang it up....it's tough to watch...especially boxers...hope he never gets behind the wheel again..he's got nothin to prove

It looks like to me that he thinks that he's coming back and will be driving again.

From his speech and body movements he will never pass the physical in my opinion.

This isn't going to be an easy thing for him.

Don't imagine it will be....his driving days may be (and should be ) over...but a man of his stature still has so much to offer the sport behind the scenes...hang up the helmet big guy ....go out on top

For 75 yrs. old he looks good. He is blessed to have a wife and four girls. I hope his girls can convince him he has had enough.
