Innova 3150 Scan Tool any input as to how good these are?

Anyone use one? A buddy of mine has once I can have for cheap. Are these any good, I've never used one before. Thanks .

They’re supposed to be decent “high end DIY” Scanners is how my innova rep described them when I got to meet with them at a convention. Supposedly great for the guys who know a little bit about cars. But for the price, I’ve always recommended something like the Autel MX808. A little pricier, and low-mid shop grade level equipment. Allows for diagnostics and full read out. Yearly updates for about 100 a year.

but it depends on what you’re looking to use it for.

It depends on what you want to do ...IMO it is hard to beat the MX+ OBD Bluetooth dongle. Match it with Alfaobd and you can check most anything in system, MUST have bypass installed to make any changes on MY2018 up.

Just picked it up for 35.00. Since I dont know anything about these I figured I wouldn’t get in too deeply.
