I always liked the way the TorRed Demons look with the WinLites. I investigated changing out the Low Temp heat exchanger in the front and it will not drop straight down without removing the support for the splitter. I think I can get to all the mounting bolts except one. Good thing that ONE bolt is missing! Removing the Hoses should not be too bad. They won't be easy but it is do-able. I would have to drill out 4 plastic rivets so I regrouped and put everything back together for another day and went in the house and ordered a bunch of Airbag Bypass Harness parts and threw those $4 rivets and a few $4 push pins in the cart.......Once everything comes in I may take another stab at it.

The B5 Blue one is my Friends. It's the one I was able to store and race when my Super Stock was on order a year ago. I have it now to install a few things and I took it to Bakersfield to remote tune it and be part of a Beta Test. The Beta test was for The FOAT time slip app they are developing......... 10 Cars, 2 fully prepped lanes, for 7 hours. Cost ZERO $ ! We actually pitted in the staging lanes. That car ran 6 passes between 9.60 and 9.65 and all 6 were 142.xx except one was 143.00..........DA went from 650 up to 1450. It ran 9.61 last pass @ 1450 DA.

I was reminded that I likely have more passes in the car than the actual owner now. LOL

Ron,
I have a couple of wheel/tire questions for you if you don't mind.

I'm considering getting a 2nd set of the BS rear wheels.
I have some new 305/45-17 ETStreets for the current set I now have and am considering maybe putting a different tire on the 2nd set. What's your opinion for a personal best type of quarter mile tire?

Also, is the 18x5 BS skinny a stout enough wheel for street use?
Thx.

I would use the Hoosier Drag Bracket Radial in the 28/10.5R17. That is the tire a lot of us are using. And that is what is on the car right now in the pic above. It was on the Super Stock when I ran 9.908

That 18X5 BS Win Lite is a nice wheel. I would think it would do well on the street, BUT, it will not tolerate any hazards like pot holes etc. So, pay attention. Would I autocross or road race on it? No. I would go for something with thicker spokes like an 18X6 Weld RTS...........

Assuming you already have the 18X5's? Otherwise you need the 17X4.5 Win Lite for the Super Stock. There is a very small possibility they will not fit though. One member reported the 2021 Scat Pack / Super Stock caliper is 1/4" thicker than a Demon Caliper. Not sure where he got the info from but if that is true then it's possible........

I did autocross on Weld Alumastar wheels once. Now that I think about it..........Gulp. 216071_10150168233795073_188171375072_6885346_1685724_n.jpg
Car actually handled better than I thought it would........

Thanks for the info Ron. I thought that's what you'd tell me about rear tires. I saw that Summit had the MT 305 in stock a few weeks ago and got a pair just in case. I haven't spent a lot of time looking for the Hoosier but Summit and Jegs neither have it in stock right now.

I have the 18x5 BS wheels w the Hoosier lightweight tire for the PB stuff but have been considering getting another pair for regular street driving. I've had the Forgestar/Weld Matte Black setup for a while now and am thinking about changing up the look.

And as for autocrossing, I have nice big wide stuff for that. LOL

Nice. I bet you'll really enjoy that extra 4 feet!
Is that color a charcoal gray? I can't tell from the pics.

It has not gone unnoticed that I now can have any Truck I want and any Trailer I want.

But unfortunatly that is my Friends Trailer. Yes it is charcoal. I helped him find it and we actually got a decent price on it. They told us that it was still at Intech and they could not find anyone to go get it and deliver it. "Oh, you will go get it" ? ? ? "we'll give you $1000 off" ! 29K and it has the Full access side door, AC, All aluminum interior, nice Cabinets etc. I am pretty sure I have seen similar trailers listed for $35-40 in this market. I am not positive but I think it was MSRP.

That’s one hell of a deal! Ask me how I know.

The power of newer diesels since about 2013 is insane. Get one tuned and watch out. Not even just the power. Exhaust brake is amazing as well. Nice truck. Nice trailer.

Just to clarify : I did find out that the info that I saw posted was incorrect. So the Demon and 2021+ Super Stock/Scat Pack caliper are the same one piece billet. The Billet Specialties one piece 17X4.5 with 2" back space RSFB27459020N Win Lite will fit a Super Stock the same as a Demon.

OK, My Demon was/is Possesed. I could hear strange noises when I drove around. I mentioned the TECH that installed the Race PCM and Center Stack found a Golf Ball under the rear seat delete tray. But I could still hear S O M E T H I N G. I have all the Junk out of the car getting it ready for Houston. And I still could hear a strange noise every now and then. I carefully checked all the suspension etc underneath last time I had it on the lift. It has 10,000+ mile on it after all...... And it IS a DEMON. Right?

So, it's on my Honey Do list to get to the bottom of this once and for all............

I am doing this a certain way so I don't give it away, the punch line.........
