Minimum time for a private pilots license is 3 months and 35 hours flight time. That’s the FAA minimum. Thing is…. you have to pass written tests and a final check ride with a FAA check pilot. You have to prove you know what you’re doing in a number of safety areas (both aircraft control and knowledge) to pass. The average is 70 hours and closer to 6 months to be able to accomplish that. This thing actually looks like a pretty bitchin aircraft and under $200k is cheap for anything FAA certified and new. With the turbine engine ($$$) and all the fly-by-wire computer stuff today, I bet it’s very easy to fly. The FAA has a “sport” license that only requires 30 hours but has airspace restrictions. That’s probably what they are talking about here. Stuff like that is for flying out in the wide open spaces a like a large ranch or something. Marketing this for the “average guy” with only a drivers license required is click bait bullshit.

Not much of a deal IMO - just minutes away from needing a complete overhaul (cha-ching), missing SB's (and who knows what else), no bulkheads or fuel bladders, last inspection in 2016 + shown with no rotors (why ?). That new one is a WAY better deal !!!
