That's why they have the negotiation between rounds. Guy should have taken the car or two that was offered.

It's not heads up every round. And they often have folks drop out for various reasons, and so the match ups arent always what was planned. But when you get trounced first round, unless you got n2o or were holding back, you've got to be able figure out what you need to make it a race. Plenty.of these where the faster car ends up not winning bc of that. I love that.polara too but you cant just says give me the hit when you got waxed by a car and a half with an awesome launch (and he did launch damn good that first time).

Ok, we already knew which car is faster in the quarter (which is a REAL race) before they even raced and they changed the distance for the sake of the Dodge and he still lost. What’s up with keep changing the distance until the Dodge wins??? That seems stupid to me. Hell, let me bring my old Schwin and give me the jump in a five foot race. I’ll bet $500 I can beat the Dodge OR that foreign thing.
