I might be done with car dealers for the first time in my adult life. I'm one of those guys who buys or leases a new car every couple of years minimum between my need for a new toy and daily drivers for my wife and I. I've gotten to the point I just can't put up with the dealer BS. My most recent Hellcat purchase was via private party and it was great. No silly fees or attempts to upsell just the agreed upon price, hand him a cashiers check, and get the keys and title to my car and I was on my way. With this whole COVID situation my wife has been told she is working from home indefinitely so her commuting will be reduced by 90 percent which means the new Toyota Camry we bought for her a year ago will last forever. I also have a Boss 302 that I plan on keeping long term. I do have a lease on an Explorer but as soon as that's up I'll be turning it in and finding a beater pickup from a private party to drive around town in the winter. I hope I can stick to my guns and stay out of car dealerships for a long time although a Hellcat Durango will be tempting
