What if in 2015...(can you believe its 5 years)...There was no Hellcat...no HC Challenger..no HC Charger..no Demon..no Red Eyes...nothin..just the 392 in various offerings...What would you be driving today..Ford..Chevy..restored old iron ???...If FCA never gave us the mopars we covet today..how many would be satisfied with the 392...or anything else...or how many of us would just take up golf?

don't care for vipers eh?...btw...my C8 got delivered to the dealer late today ..pre delivery inspection and dealer installed options mean Friday pick up, as Thursday rain is in the forcast...I'll be out of town.so my wife is charged with going through the 45 min orientation..then the drive straight home to the garage...I told her..no joy ride..straight home...yeah thats gonna work

I had a 14' Chrysler 300SRT and a 17' C7 Grand Sport. Both gone now, so its the 17' GT350 and now the 20' Durango SRT.

Not much would have changed for me except obviously no HellCat. Maybe the sequence of purchases and timing would have varied with no HC option.

I still see a 18/19 C7 Z06 in my future. Maybe trade in my 16' HCC on a newer WB in a year.

Technically the Hellcat has been out since 2010. Just under another name. The 570x option came with 700+ horsepower. I was seriously considering one of these, but the Hellcat came out and I took that road instead. I firmly believe Dodge went Hellcat because Saleen was making a killing off these cars, and well...who wouldn't want the same thing cheaper and with a better warranty.

I did get a charger in 2016 because I liked the 4 door body style. I had the 5.7 but had no idea what I was getting myself into. I thought 370 horsepower was plenty for me lol. If there were no hellcats I'd def be in a 392 of some sort. Sadly, I can't afford a Viper
