Koons Red Eye's down to $59000!!!

Was looking at Redeye prices to see what was going on. Got on E-bay and looked. Then I went to Koons website where I bought mine last month. They have them as low as 59K NEW. Same car, same options, (stripper) same color (B5 blue) as mine was 62K at the beginning of December with mine. They only had two. That 2cnd car is still their along with others in different colors and all marked down to 59K!. Man these things must not be movi'n.

You have to scratch your head on what’s going on behind the scenes at Dodge. With KOONS doing this is it due to the Hellcats have lost their luster and possibly any bigger and badder is not happening
The no media hype and just nothing beyond nothing and now the Jeep side is taking 9k off the recently released Gladiator.

Market saturation, internal numbers fudging, and a very interesting way to alienate your previous clientele - that's what these numbers mean.

For $59K I'd have considered a NB RE.

The 59k is nice but it ain’t 59k. Add freight and other misc fees it will be 61k Plus tax.

Just took a look.... they have the Charger Daytona for like 99 or something like that. 2016 Charger HC with 20K miles at 45000. And a ton of Charger regular bodies with the Alpine stereo for 55,000. So, for 4 grand more, you get the widebody and the RE motor on the challenger.

Nuts.

So, on the charger you pay for the Daytona paint and stickers, and the widebody kit and it adds 44,000? lol

I really believe the $59k price includes a bunch of discounts that you might be eligible for if you are a veteran and a whole bunch of other caveats that will add to the final price...but sounds like a deal even if it cost $65- $70K?

Mine was 71k with cloth interior, HK stereo, and a sunroof.
I really don't like the sunroof but the powertrain makes up for it.
Why would you put a hole in a perfectly good roof?

I paid 83K for a somewhat lightly optioned ordered '20. You can get 100K sticker '18s cheaper than that.

Oh, those 55K regular hellcat chargers are 2019 or 2020 models, I don't think I mentioned that above.

@SilverBillet there are no special requirements. @ChargerChallenger yes you are correct but those fees apply to all new cars at any price. As @Jack_Toepfer said....quite a bargain. How much would the RE hard parts alone cost (Complete motor, tranny, driveshaft, rear diff, axles, Brembo calipers, rotors etc.) without the car?
I'm truly astonished. How low can they go?

That Octane red Redeye is 1 of 50 total produced that color and 1 of 604 total regular body redeyes worldwide. Somebody buy that car.

Regardless of price, I think a lot of people (me included) want a few creature comforts for $60K regardless of motor.
I think the stripper option appeals to a narrower segment than they think.
