Next month the engine I’ve been running is coming out to make way for the new 401” turbo replacement. For somebody who may be considering a winter build in the 1500 bhp range…… listen up 😜. I’ll be brief….. 6.2 BGE block. 426 stroker with Molnar Billet Crankshaft. Billet Main Caps. ARP bolts/studs throughout with 625 head studs. Manley forged I-beam rods. Diamond 9.5 Billet Pistons (coated). Thitek Bear Cylinder Heads with Inconal exhaust Valve upgrade. BBP Cam with VVT lockout. ARH 2” x 3.5” headers (ceramic coated inside and out). Supercharger is the Whipple 3.0 (DragPak version with the huge intercooler). I’ll sell it with or without the supercharger, but it will be a deal with. Do not think that it is the same as the regular 3.0. It’s not. These have no issues. Plans are to tear this engine down for inspection and to refresh everything that it needs to bring it to 100%. If you purchase with the blower then the covers and pulleys will be a part of that. I’m going to say $28k with everything just as it comes out of the car (turnkey version) after inspection and refresh. Does not include DragPak oil pan and diaper. Does include factory oil pan. Does not include alternator/starter. Does include SFI Flexplate. Anyway….. if you are planning a high hp build at this level, this could save you some time and a fair amount of money. This engine was originally built by Alex Jones (BBP). It has been properly taken care of and never abused. It has proven to be rock solid reliable at the 1300 rwhp level and never had a issue. As sold it will be a SpankinTime Motorsports check off and refresh by Adam Montegue. Specs and pics of everything included. Contact me personally to discuss if interested. This engine will run for the last time on December 9 and we’ll be looking for 7.9 at 4100 lbs. This could be your chance to get some of what it takes to do that 👊 4922B8AA-9453-4160-9593-5D723E22AF23.jpeg 6A0C41B7-303D-4A71-8FA4-A1B8C49C45BE.jpeg FFDC24EE-8F42-4B4E-9DD3-C0664921211D.jpeg 1710EB48-CE99-4AB0-9DCF-1DAE41DE9B3C.jpeg F5D10C5B-A454-4B99-8355-5AED0DCE325D.jpeg

............wonder what it would take to turn key this in a street car and if the dragpak style blower would clear a charger hood (doubtful).

What fuel did you run to make those numbers?

They are the Thitek Bears with 2.165 intake and 1.65 Inconel exhaust. I don’t know what his advertised numbers for those are. They definitely work.

You can run this in a street car I have similar build in my Trackhawk I street it. The Dargpack 3.8 will not fit maybe the 3.0 will tho not sure how high them intercoolers sit with the 3.0.

This is a KILLER DEAL WOW!!!!

It was originally built to be street driven along with track use. The cam is a Comp VVT that is very streetable. It’s locked now but the VVT function could be returned by replacing the lockout with one of their limiters like it originally had. That would probably make it a little more agreeable on the street. This engine has always been run on Ignite Red (E90). It’s setup to boost around 27 lbs so that’s why. Less pulley and of coarse that wouldn’t be necessary. As far as blower size goes… no. It ain’t fitting under any stock hood. They do in the Dragpaks because they use a cradle that drops the motor to accomplish that.

Also while on the subject….. obviously this setup is being controlled by a stand alone ecu. So what about running it with the factory electronics? The cable throttle body would have to be swapped out for a electronic one like the Nick Williams 108. I have one btw. What about the manual (vacuum) bypass? That’s turns out to be so super simple it’s a laugh. You just remove the bypass motor from a stock Hellcat tb and leave it hooked up to the harness. Wrap it up and locate it out of the way to let it do it’s thing. Mother is happy because she’s connected to the motor and telling it what to do. In the mean time the vaccine tb is actually doing what it does. Several others out there running the DragPak Whipples with the stock computers are doing that with no problems.

The price as stated in the ad is $28k. That is with the supercharger and basically the running “turnkey” engine as pictured in the car. Consider it a crate motor. There are a couple exclusions in the details as listed. Adjustments can be made to whittle the price down some but that would be a conversation. The valve covers are Holley Snipers with the custom added catch can and oil fill fittings. I am choosing to offer this as a complete package because when someone purchases a long block from one of the engine builders, there are still thousands of dollars of additional parts to complete a running motor. If someone has all that from a existing motor then we can deal on the price some. For somebody who doesn’t have that existing collection of parts and accessories, than what I’m offering simplifies things and is a lot less expensive in the end. Also to reiterate… it’s still in the car and has one more track date in two weeks. Then it has to be removed and taken down for inspection and replacement of anything that shows wear. So we’re probably looking at 3 months until it’s wrapped up and ready to ship. I’m just throwing it up here as a heads up for somebody to consider if they’re thinking about doing something over the winter. Consider that engine builds, once a commitment and deposit has been made, can take up to a year to get done. That has commonly been the case. Not always but ask others what they have experienced. All the parts suppliers out there say 6 weeks and take 6 months. I know this because I’m going on 18 months in the new build I’m doing. I’m waiting on the final one week of machine work that has taken 5 weeks now. Still don’t have it back. The guy will get pissed if we keep bothering him. It’s always something. The mother in law is sick or the key employee quit. Anyway…. I don’t plan on putting any of this out there on Facebook where I’d be dealing with the jackals until it’s on the crate and ready to ship. Somebody here who might be interested can contact me and start a conversation. If somebody wants to lock it down it will take a $5,000 deposit. Engine builders typically require 50%.

Really good deal and people don't have to wait for parts and assembly! Just drop in an go racing.

Parts are soo hard to find and piston take 4 to 6 months to get.

13 months to get my motor built! 13 months! Thiteck heads can take 6-9 months to get alone. I think a lot of ppl just dont realize how hard it is to get parts these days and the wait time is unreal. Plus this has a billet crank which is huge imo.

Interested in just the blower, can you get some pictures of the rotors from inlet and discharge views please?

Like I said…. I will separate the blower. It will be inspected when the motor is taken down. It needs to be off to really do that. At that point we will be able to tell if it needs any attention. I doubt that it will. It’s been on the car for less than a year. We’ve been running a 3.0 pulley and it has been kept well below rated max. It has 20 passes total. If there is any indication that it needs attention then it will go to Whipple for that. I will be taking pictures during the disassembly to confirm wear on everything in the motor and then also the refresh as it goes back together. There won’t be any doubts. When we changed to the DragPak oil pan we pulled the main caps to check the bearings and they were perfect. That was 6 passes ago. The price for the Whipple with fuel rails and throttle body will be $5,000.

If rotors looks good I’m interested at that price. Please put me down as #1 on the list if you separate.
