This practice has been ongoing for years. The reaction to it from owners has consistently been "Up Yours".

About as good as the notice I got about my manufactures warranty about to expire on mine that I’ve only had since August with 2000 miles on it.

I don't think they pay any attention to the make and model. It might be appealing to someone with a seven-year-old Caravan with 100K on the clock.

The only way I would have done this is IF my Cat was leased and I was turning it in and also taking a long driving vacation with that rental. The 500 would be icing on the cake.

If they promised to keep her 6/8 weeks...sent her back washed with 500.00 in her purse...I would consider it...(the wife that is)
